Personal Information ~

My name is Iris.
- I am a grandmother with 4 grown children and 8 grandchildren (two girls who love Barbies).
- I live on a small mini farm in rural north Alabama with 2 dogs, 2 indoor cats, outside goats, barn cats, geese, ducks, wild deer, possums, raccoons and who knows what else.
- My husband of 40+ years recently went home to be with the Lord, so I'll be devoting more time to my doll fashions in the future. He was always so encouraging to me with my Barbie gowns and I think he enjoyed seeing what I could create. One of the things I'll miss will be his enthusiasm for this venture.
Sewing Experience ~

I've been sewing seriously for 50+ years ~ and collecting Barbie dolls for "several years".
- I started making doll clothes when I was just a little girl ~ under the guidance of my grandmother ~ what seems like eons ago. She was VERY picky and insisted that I do it correctly. I can still feel her looking over my shoulder and reminding me that "anything worth doing is worth doing right!"
- I'm always working at improving my sewing and designing methods.
Online Experience ~

I began selling online on ebay in 1998. I have over 1700 feedback on ebay ~ 100% positive.
