About My Gowns

Gowns ~

All of my fashions are formal gowns ~ sometimes with very full skirts, sometimes form fitting, sometimes with trains.
A wide variety of fabrics are used in my gowns ~ including lace, satin, silk, chiffon, organza, and various blends.
Each gown is fitted to the doll with great care and if it needs fasteners - it fastens with either snap or velcro closure.
Most of my gowns are designed with collectors in mind ~ but are constructed durable enough for little girls to play with also ~ and I occasionally offer one that's designed just for that special little girl to dress up her Barbie in :)
My gowns will always have my "designer label"sewn inside.
I love colors, elegance, and simplicity. I work hard to make my fashions something I enjoy looking at ~ and hopefully you'll share my opinion!
Finishing & Lining ~
Many of the seams in my gowns are finished ~ unless it's a fabric that simply does not ravel.
Many of my gowns are fully lined and it will be noted in my description.

Smoke Free Environment ~
All my my gowns are designed, created and housed in a smoke free environment.
Pet Environment ~
I have five pets in my home. I, sincerely, hope this will not be a deterrent to you enjoying one of my lovely creations. PLEASE read the following information about my pets.
My little tiny teacup toy poodle (Frosty) is usually in my lap. Poodles don't shed and most people with allergies aren't affected by poodles.
I have a cockatiel (Squeaker) ~ his cage is not near either my Barbie studio or my office.
I have a larger red setter (Belle) who is NOT allowed in either my Barbie studio or my office.
And I have 2 cats (Fluffy and Emma Grace) who have the same restrictions as Belle.

OOAK ~ (One of a Kind) ~
Most of my doll fashions are One Of a Kind. This means I have made only one ~ nor will I make another exactly like it. I might create another similar outfit (perhaps use the same fabric, etc), but never exactly the same.
OOAK outfits will be noted in my descriptions.

LE (Limited Edition) ~
Occasionally I will create Limited Edition gowns ~ more than one outfit exactly alike (except possibly in color).
LE outfits will be noted in my descriptions.

Accessories ~
Accessories are sometimes included with a gown ~ possibly jewelry that I've handcrafted to match the gown, or a shawl or boa. Accessories are also sold separately.
It will be noted in the description - and visible in the photo if accessories are included with the gown.
